So why have a maintenance contract?

Our maintenance contracts are primarily aimed at our Solar thermal, Solar PV and wind turbine installations.

Although we try to make our designs as autonomous as possible, there is a certain amount of input
that is required to any of these systems to ensure a long life span and continued high performance.

Just as with your car, your plumbing system, your appliances etc, a regular maintenance program will
extend the life of a system and will also ensure that the energy savings you make are the greatest possible hence
reducing the payback time of the system.

A maintenance program doesn't just mean having an annual visit by an engineer to check the system over,
Its something that should be considered on a regular basis.
We explain to our customers what regular checks should be carried out to keep their system in
first class condition. This can then be complemented by annual inspections by our staff.

Inspections made by our engineers are generally a much deeper check than the system user would carryout
and may involve preventative work, for example replacement fluid in a solar thermal system or
changing of battery banks in a wind turbine or solar PV system.
